No. Becoming a member of the UMOO community is free of charge. All you need to do is register and start enjoying the variety of UMOO’s Trading Tournaments.

Umoo is a considered a skill game. We comply with different US state rules and regulations regarding skill games. Unfortunately, some USA states do not allow skill games and therefore not mentioned in Umoo’s list of states.

Under UMOO’s Terms and Conditions, members may only create one account per household. We do appreciate that some family members may like to play and if more than one account is needed please contact support before creating an account they will be able to assist.

The objective of the players is to make the highest returns on their portfolio. Throughout the tournament, player’s portfolios are measured against other players in real time; at the end of the tournament, the winners are those who have the highest returns relative to the other participants in the tournament. The leading Traders can win cash prizes.

UMOO is for EVERYONE (over the age of 18). You do not need any prior experience in trading, in fact, UMOO is an excellent starting point for you to learn and improve your trading skills

No. Once you register you can join any of our ‘FreeRoll’ tournaments and start improving your trading skills. You can join our cash tournaments and claim your wins anytime.

In order to join a tournament you need to
  • go to the "Tournament lobby"
  • Choose the best tournament that suites you.
  • Click Join and confirm your entry.
Start to build your portfolio

At the end of a tournament the players with the highest portfolio values and returns are awarded prizes, according to the tournament’s prize structure. If a large number of players have the same portfolio value and return, the prizes are distributed evenly amongst them. For more details please review our Tournament Rules description

Generally trades do not cost real money, but UMOO also offers tournaments in which there is a limit on the number of free trades that can be executed. Notice of such tournaments will be given in the "tournament Info" section and in the tournament lobby.

  • To make a trade, you have to pick a symbol or a company (by name). You can search for companies/symbols using a variety of tools on the UMOO platform.
  • After you found the stock you would like to trade, you can go to the buy/sell screens and place the order.
  • All orders submitted during trading hours are executed in real time price quotes according to the data located on the UMOO servers. Orders submitted after trading hours are considered pending orders and will be executed immediately when the market reopens again.

UMOO offers a wide variety of Trading Tournaments including Daily, Weekly and Monthly competitions. Please go to our Tournament Guide to learn more about our tournaments and choose the right tournament for you.

  • First you must register and create a UMOO account.
  • Once you have completed the registration process go to the ‘Cashier’ button and choose any of our deposit methods. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Moneybookers.
  • Fill in your “Deposit Details”, name, address, credit card details and deposit amount etc, then confirm and click deposit.

  • Press the CASHIER button and select ‘Withdrawal’.
  • Choose the payment method you prefer - Depending on your deposit method, you may choose between a number of withdrawal options including check.
  • Please note that you must have real money in your UMOO account in order to be able to withdraw.
  • Certain restrictions may apply if you participate in promotions or have bonus funds.
Withdrawal minimums depend on the withdrawal method and are presented on the withdrawal screen.

Initially you will need to activate your account via the activation link in the email sent to you after registering. Note that your login details are CaSE SenSitive and your username is your e-mail address you supplied when registering, not your nickname that you are recognized as while playing.

UMOO abides to the laws of the countries in which it operates. You should read our Terms and Conditions carefully before playing and check the specific laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. Wherever you reside, you must be over 18 years old to play.

For security purposes if an incorrect password is entered more than 5 times the account automatically is froze. To reactivate your account please contact Live Support or email support@umoo.com.

No, UMOO is a trading game and you do not invest your money. Members buy-in to tournaments for a fee and the trader with the highest yield of their portfolio at the end of the tournament wins

Orders placed outside of trading hours become pending orders until they are executed when the stock market re-opens

UMOO’s tournaments finish once the markets are closed at 16:00 PM (EST). From this moment on players can no longer place orders. However, stock close prices are still being updated up to 35 minutes after the markets are closed and UMOO’s servers are updated by our data provider for final close prices at this phase. Final player rankings are determined only after UMOO receives all final close prices from the markets. As can be seen on UMOO’s Terms and Conditions section, players’ portfolio and ranking might still change at this time period following the real market prices to ensure a fair and accurate transparency of the stock’s value in the game.

At UMOO you can hold private tournaments for your company, members, friends and colleagues. These tournaments are password protected to only allow invited members to play. If you would like to host a private tournament please contact support@umoo.com who will be happy to assist you. Private tournaments can only be played in CASH mode. A buy-in fee and prize fund is required. Tournaments can be held where the buy-in and prize fund is donated by the host.
